“Creating Agility and Speed for Advanced Multi-Domain Operations”

DaytonDefense (the Dayton Area Defense Contractors Association) will host the 12th annual Wright Dialogue with Industry July 18-20, 2017 at the Dayton Convention Center, Dayton, Ohio. Learn how the Air Force plans to develop and network military capabilities that create a common operational picture for our military to achieve success at a decision speed unrivaled by our adversaries.  Join us as we expand discussions of platforms and hardware to include additional focus on the networks the military operates in to produce technologies no enemy can counter.  Learn how the Air Force Research Lab’s efforts for advancing the multi-domain operating concept (CONOPS) to exploit current and new capabilities as-well-as integrate joint and coalition capabilities across all military operations opens new business opportunities.

In addition to technical focus, opportunity, and educational briefings from the AFRL Tech Directorates, AFRL Contracting, AFRL Small Business, and NASA across the 3-days, this year’s event will include interactive displays on Day 3 for “Creating Agility and Speed for Advanced Multi-Domain Operation”.   Day 3 also includes new contracting educational briefings for doing business with AFRL, and a new series of technical tracks diving into detail greater than previous years.  This year includes expanded opportunities to schedule an appointment with AFRL Leaders for private "one-on-one" sessions concerning specific opportunities you are interested in.  These one-on-one sessions provide the opportunity to help shape future directions and share your company’s innovative solutions to close technology gaps.  Register early to select your one-on-one session times.

The Wright Dialogue with Industry offers three (3) days of in-depth and comprehensive presentations, panels, and breakout sessions related to the Air Force and NASA science and technology focus areas and aerospace research and development. The Wright Dialogue with Industry (WDI) attracts over 450 participants and affords Government, Industry and Academia an opportunity to exchange information and form collaborations to address current and future Air Force and aerospace challenges. The WDI presentations feature Technical Directorates with their core technical competencies, and business opportunities for the upcoming government fiscal year as well as future requirements and open solicitations for capturing innovative solutions. The WDI content will be made available to registrants in advance of the event via the WDI event portal and will include descriptions of missions; program objectives and plans; presenter briefings, and related contracting opportunities.  This early release of information will include details about planned government solicitations as well as technology gaps.

Beneficial networking and dialog  opportunities are available to the attendees during the extensive session tracks, multiple breaks and networking lunches, and at the Day 1 evening reception.  Scheduling have been expanded throughout the 3-day event for one-on-one private discussions with AFRL Technical Directorates representatives.

This event is restricted to Government personnel and Government Contractors. All non-Government attendees must be U.S. citizens and must supply a copy of their organization's DD2345, "Military Critical Technical Data Agreement" prior to being confirmed and admitted to the event. Earn Continuous Learning Points

Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) are available to government employees for attending the Wright Dialogue with Industry event. General Session Speakers/Presenters can earn 16 points per day, Workshop Participation can earn 8 points per day, and Attendees can earn 4 points per day. Certificates will be emailed to you at the end of the conference. It is your responsibility to give your certificate to your supervisor to submit for approval.
